Hundreds of unusual concrete sculptures of former farmer Máximo Rojo fill the artist’s garden.
Rojo began working on his sculptures at the age of 67, and proceeded to build up a body of work of some 400 pieces over twenty years. After the artist’s death in 2006 the Universal Sculpture Garden, or “El jardin escultórico universal” has thus far remained open to the public.
