Atlas Obscura LIVE! SIN

Special guests join the writers and editors of Atlas Obscura for our very own sinful variety show!

Hello New York fans!

It's time again for another Atlas Obscura LIVE! Last time we sold out while we explored the wide world of scandal, but this time, we're delving into the many worlds of sin! Our live variety show brings our own writers and editors together with musicians, scholars, comedians, performers, and special guests to share wondrous acts and amazing stories, all based around the online magazine's monthly theme.

Join us on Thursday, June 8th, at Union Hall in Brooklyn, where you can learn how to avoid historic sins, answer trivia for prizes, and see Atlas staffers, along with special guests Josh Gondelman (Last Week Tonight w/ John Oliver, Conan)Joe Pera (Adult Swim, Late Night w/ Seth Meyers) sharing wholesome jokes, Jo Livingstone (The New Republic) on medieval sin, Noah Levine (Tannen's Magic Shop) showcasing sinfully good magic tricks, and Angela Serratore (Lapham's Quarterly) discussing 19th century brothels. Expect amazing tales about all the ways you can break the rules!

(Unfortunately, previously announced musical guest Ted Leo is no longer able to do the show, but another act will fill his spot. Apologizes for the inconvenience.)
