Ghost stories are part of a city’s mythology. But you know what Indiana Jones says - “We cannot afford to mythology at face value.” Author Adam Selzer started running ghost tours years ago, and immersed himself in uncovering the real history behind the tales he was telling - separating fact from fiction, finding missing data, and learning how the ghost stories evolved. The Atlas Obscura-friendly ghost tour, brought to you by Adam Selzer, Mysterious Chicago, and Leyla Royale, Dead in Chicago, strip away forty years of exaggerations and pure fiction to reveal the gruesome and mysterious history behind some of Chicago’s most famous haunted spots - though even Adam admits he can’t explain everything away!
