Come see beer the way it used to be: Oakland's Linden Street Brewery has taken over a historic building on Oakland's old waterfront to brew heritage style California lagers for local beer enthusiasts, including one that in only available in Oakland.
At one time Oakland was home to more than 40 breweries, producing enough beer to give every citizen of the era more than a barrel of beer each. With a tradition dating back to the Gold Rush era and coming to a close with prohibition, Linden Street is dedicated to resurrecting the craft of those small batch Bay Area style beers one might have found at the turn of the last century.
Join us and brewmaster Andrew for a behind the scenes look at how their beer is made and a peek at their historic 1890s building.
