You are greeted by polar bear skins in the arrivals ‘lounge’. You can walk into the tiny town easily.

Once there you can find a hotel with excellent polar bear carpet, huskies and their pups (in summer) and some breathtaking scenery.

You can get a sense of the scale of the place if you hike up to the radar station and you can enjoy views of the ‘burgs and excellent mobile reception.
