A long concrete bench stretches along the Lake Michigan beachfront, covered with over 150 murals painted by local artists and residents. Each year the bench is covered with white paint and repainted with new murals during the Artists of the Wall Festival in June.
These murals vary in design, theme, complexity, and style. The benches are popular spots to hang out or just stroll by for locals and beachgoers, especially during nice weather. The benches are located between Morse Avenue and Pratt Avenue.
Know Before You Go
There is a public parking lot between Lunt and Greenleaf Avenue north of the benches.
