Atlas Obscura Society Colorado is having a meetup at Fiction Beer Company from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 22. Come and chat with other curious explorers and discuss ideas for strange and special trips, places, and events in the Centennial State. Then stick around for trivia afterward!
Do you have an idea for an awesome adventure? Great, come tell the group! There's that off-limits museum down the street from your house that you've always wanted to visit, and you know with a little help from the Obscura Society, we could all get exclusive access? Awesome, tell us about it!
This gathering is also a chance to meet Denver's newly announced Chapter Head, James O'Neill. James has worked with Atlas Obscura over the past two years organizing and leading events in the Denver area for Obscura Day, such as Murderers and Miniatures and A Drinking History Tour of Denver. He has added and edited numerous places in the Atlas, and traveled to over 40 countries including Iran, Kazakhstan, Malawi, and Turkmenistan. He's excited to chart out new and exciting local adventures.
All are invited, no matter whether you're a longtime fan or have never heard of us!
Tickets are not required, but please RSVP to help us get a proper head count.
- This event is strictly 21+; please bring I.D.
