You are invited to an immersive evening with Atlas Obscura and Laurel Hill Cemetery as we explore the liminal world that exists between the land of the living and the realm of the dead.
From its founding in 1836 as one of the country's very first rural garden cemeteries, Laurel Hill was designed as a space of respite and reflection for the living as much as a final resting place for the dead. Over 78 acres of beautifully manicured green space containing monuments and memorials from some of the greatest architects and sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries, Laurel Hill offers visitors a chance to connect with the past while contemplating the veil between life and the afterlife.
Over the course of the evening, you will stumble upon hidden art, musical performances, cocktails, and unique entertainment as you chart your way through Laurel Hill’s dark, winding paths. Join us for a very special night of contemplation and discovery.
Cocktail attire is encouraged! We'll be heading fairly deep within the Laurel Hill Cemetery grounds, so sensible footwear is recommended, as is a flashlight.
