Excite your senses this Obscura Day with a very special bizarre bazaar at Birmingham Oddities.
Inside, you'll see the personal collections of local collectors, including African game animal skulls, jewel and mineral specimens, human orthopedic appliance bone pieces, fossils, meteorites, taxidermy monkeys, and much more.
Explore artwork from local artists, including the work of a blacksmith that forges knife blades with deer antler handles; an artist specializing in skull paintings; and a candle maker who captures dark scents like denial, camp fire, and tobacco.
Treat yourself to a taste of the unusual, as a chef on site serves up free samples of oddly prepared foods such as cricket brittle and pig brain tacos.
- The event is free, but RSVP is strongly encouraged.
