Atlas Obscura at the Boston Book Festival

Get a whirlwind tour of the world's most fascinating places at this free event.

As part of the Boston Book Festival, Atlas Obscura Senior Editor Ella Morton will be giving a presentation of highlights from the New York Times bestseller Atlas Obscura: An Explorer's Guide to the World's Hidden Wonders.

Join us for this free event at the Boston Public Library's Rabb Hall to hear all about a giant flaming hole in the Turkmenistan desert, Japanese monks who mummify themselves, Indian bridges made of aerial tree roots, and much, much more.

After the presentation there will be a Q&A and book signing. Copies of Atlas Obscura: An Explorer's Guide to the World's Hidden Wonders will be available for purchase.

The event will be introduced by Zeninjor Enwemeka, digital reporter at WBUR. Sponsored by the Boston Public Library.
