Casa Larissa is not only an unconventional residence, but also a living, breathing cabinet of curiosities. Designer, curator, and lead visionary behind Topsy Design, Jared Frank has gathered a collection of eclectic objects and stories from around the world, all of them proudly displayed in his Silverlake home.
Frank's home has been featured in the LA Times, Openhouse Magazine, and Justina Blakeney's book, The Cool and Collected Homes of the New Bohemians. In his own words: "The interiors that I design look both forward and back in time, finding echoes of a house’s architecture in antiques that pre-date the structure and contemporary furnishings that are responsive to it. This allows for architecturally appropriate but aesthetically intriguing spaces that don’t ever feel like period rooms, but that are instead layered with a sense of history and charm."
On Obscura Day 2017, Casa Larissa welcomes us for an evening of extravagant live performance in an intimate environment.
Doors open at 7:30 pm, when visitors will have the opportunity to explore (experience the space, peruse objets d'art and discover secrets) on their own.
- Seats are limited. Unless required, guests are expected to watch the performances sitting on the floor of Casa Larissa's beautiful living room.
- This event is strictly 21+; please bring I.D.
