Join us for a presentation & tour of the old Chicago Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium grounds led by noted Chicago historian & Chicago Municipal Sanitarium researcher Frances O'Cherony Archer. You'll learn about the 100 year history of the Tuberculosis Sanitarium, hear personal stories of people who lived at the Sanitarium, & get a chance to tour the area & view the remaining buildings & tunnel entrances. Now home to the North Park Village and Nature Center, the area is a serene nature oasis home to deer, old growth trees, & the original beautiful brick buildings from the Sanitarium.
