Expedition to the Cat House

Join Obscura Society LA at the famed Cat House, an exotic cat conservation center and research facility in Rosamond, California.

EFBC's Feline Conservation Center is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the world's endangered felines, and is home to 70 different kinds of exotic cats, including some of the world's most endangered species.  On Sept 8th, The Obscura Society's LA Chapter and The Cat House will give you a chance to visit, observe, and learn about these amazing animals.

Our private tour will be led by one of the institution's dedicated resident feline experts, allowing us unparalleled access to the jaguars, tigers, and panthers that roam this beautiful institution, located about 80 miles outside of Los Angeles.

You have to be over 18 to visit, but don't worry... it's safe!

  • Ages 18+
  • Space is limited to 25 people in our group
  • The Cat House is located in Rosamond, CA, approx an hour and half drive from central LA
  • When you arrive, look for a Obscura Society sign. Bring your printed ticket for us, but no reason to present it to the facillty itself.

Do NOT use directions from MapQuest or Google Maps! The Cat House mailing address is on 60th St West but this road does NOT go through from Rosamond Blvd.
