Tattooed Moms and Adam Wallacavage's South Philadelphia home are two art spaces of local lore. Both have evolved over decades, each with their own unique ethos and backstory. In Adam's case, it's a space tied to his practice as a sculptor and collector. Tattooed Mom is a self-declared "un-curated and anarchistic" space housing an ever-expanding collection containing "two decades of street art, graffiti, wheat pastes, stickers, love notes, and memories." Shepard Fairey, Amberella, Stephen "Espo" Powers, Hummingbird Hope, L'Amour Supreme, Joe Boruchow, Wordsmith, and many others, including Adam Wallacavage himself, are among the artists on or within Tattooed Mom's walls.
Join us for an intimate, rare tour and peek inside Adam Wallacavage's three-story brownstone and guided tour of Tattooed Mom's by owner Robert Perry and staff. After the tours conclude, attendees will have their choice of Tattooed Mom's specialty cocktails, as we mingle with Robert and Adam.
