Obscura Day 2015: Cathedral of Junk

Trash becomes treasure on a monumental level in this suburban backyard.

Explore Vince Hannemann's ever-evolving Cathedral of Junk.

An awe-inspiring structure composed of over 60 tons of discarded items, the Cathedral of Junk has been a work-in-progress since 1989, when Vince Hannemann first began construction of a multi-floored tower of unwanted goods in his suburban backyard. Join us this Obscura Day for a tour of this truly fantastical backyard creation.
