Kubota Gardens is known as a beautiful refuge, but it is clear that there is more to it than meets the eye. Join us for a guided tour as we get to the bottom of what makes Kubota Garden unique.
What makes a Japanese garden different than an American garden? How do you reconcile the two? How does the garden evolve and expand? What design philosophies animate the space? All this and more will be explained as we stroll through the garden, guided by one of Kubota Gardens’ dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers.
The tour will begin promptly at 3:30. While there is no charge, donations will be accepted and help keep the garden maintained and growing. Wear comfortable shoes--10 acres is a lot of garden!
LIMITED CAPACITY; RSVP REQUIRED!
