"Be Good, or Be Gone" and "We were here before your were born" are just two of the motto's McSorley's has adopted in its 161 years of existence. As the oldest Irish Tavern in New York City, McSorley's is never short on good company, history and of course...ale!
The Irish tavern's walls are decorated with mountains of antiquities and stories. Some items have a happy attachment, while others not so much. Some of the tales that could be told are all fact, while others might be exaggerated. But what remains true is that nothing has been removed from those walls since 1910.
Join us on a tour through the infamous tavern while historian Bill Wander shares the tales and facts about this fine establishment. And what would be a visit to the tavern without having a pint - on us!
