Obscura Day 2016: Explorations and Exhumations at Laurel Hill Cemetery

An evening of sepulchral exploration among those immortalized inhabitants who call Laurel Hill Cemetery home.

Laurel Hill Cemetery, the nation’s first National Historic Landmark Cemetery, is full of art, architecture, nature and stunning river views.

An outdoor sculptural garden, horticultural treasure, and a truly unique historical resource—it’s much more than just a cemetery. There are countless stories to be told about its residents, brave military heroes, powerful captains of industry, and selfless philanthropists, but what about the tales of the more peculiar spirits?

On Obscura Day, follow your curiosity off the beaten path and down into the crypts. You’ll have guaranteed dinner conversation for years to come. Tickets will go fast for this exclusive event! A significant portion of the proceeds will benefit the preservation and education mission of Laurel Hill Cemetery.
