Organized in 1814, the Philadelphia Athenaeum is a true architectural and cultural marvel in the city landscape.
The Athenaeum boasts an expansive collection of unique works in rare books and archival collections. A few of the notable items in their massive collection are books of occult import.
Everyone will have the opportunity to view up close centuries-old tomes on witchcraft, mesmerism, and the occult sciences. This unique experience will be curated by the Athenaeum’s Librarian, who is sure to evoke the eerie and ominous past of these otherworldly works in the present day. You will also be able to see the death mask of Napoleon, and visit the Athenaeum's lavish reading room.
Attendees will meet in the lobby. Please allow yourself enough time to find street parking.
Advance ticket sales only. All sales are final.
