Obscura Day 2016: Homestead Crater Mineral Soak

Spend the morning soaking in a natural geothermal hot spring hidden within a mineral dome enclosure!

Yes, that's right – Mother Nature has spent over 10,000 years building this gigantic private hot tub, just for you.

This Obscura Day, spend your morning soaking in the brilliant mineral springs of Homestead Crater, a 55-foot deep chasm with water temperatures hovering between 90 and 96 degrees Fahrenheit. We've booked a private hour within the geothermal springs of Homestead Resort, accessed by a tunnel burrowed through the surrounding limestone to safely reach the waters below. The cave's dome itself continues growing steadily at a pace that is undetectable to the human eye, thanks to eons of mineral deposits left on the cave walls by the continuously rising steam from the spring's balmy waters.

Join us for a special Obscura Day soak within the waters of Homestead Crater--as the morning's natural light mixes with the rising steam, there's little question that this is the greatest hot tub in all of Utah!

Saturday, April 16; 11:30am - 12:30pm
Ticket Cost: $16

Bring a swimsuit and towel, and arrive early to allow yourself plenty of time to check in.
