Climb aboard with us and learn about the operational history of the USCGC Midgett, her crew, and the men and women of the United States Coast Guard as we see the inner workings of this ship firsthand!
Join us for an exceedingly rare opportunity to tour an operational United States Coast Guard cutter. This tour is not for the faint of heart, as it will involve climbing multiple levels of stairs, moving through narrow corridors, and entering small and confined spaces.
Saturday, April 16; 11:00am - 12:30pm
Ticket Cost: Free, but capacity is limited. RSVP REQUIRED.
Meet-up will be at the security guard gate of the USCG base at Pier 36 on South Massachusetts Street.
Please arrive promptly. Once the tour starts there will be no way to catch up!
Because this is a working federal installation all tour participants will be required to show either an enhanced Washington driver's license or valid United States issued passport to get on base. All other forms of identification will not be accepted.
Limited parking will be available on base for those who present a valid enhanced driver's license and insurance. Because parking is limited, attendees are encouraged to use public transportation to arrive at the base.
