The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis are delighted to offer an in-depth tour of the magnificent Glasgow Necropolis for Obscura Day 2016.
Come and hear some of the stories of the 50,000 people interred within the necropolis' 37 acres, who helped make Glasgow the Second City of the Victorian Empire--poets, architects, surgeons, ministers, abolitionists and the Queen of the gypsies to name but a few!
The proceeds of this tour will go in their entirety to the Glasgow Necropolis' current conservation and restoration project, the Monteath Mausoleum.
Saturday, April 16; 12:00pm - 2:00pm
Ticket Cost: £5.00 (cash at the door)
Limited capacity; RSVP required. Please register below.
