This hands-on workshop will stimulate and inspire participants to use the art of magic-experience-design to create their very own episodes of designed delight, premeditated joy, and engineered wonder.
This intimate workshop will be like designing a real-life, nonfiction version of magical realism. It will be led by acclaimed Italian author and performer Ferdinando Buscema, an international specialist in the design of magical experiences for individual and corporate transformation. With a background in mechanical engineering, humanistic psychology, and hermetic traditions, Ferdinando is a management consultant who has created high-value events worldwide for clients such as Ferrari and L'Oréal. As a sleight-of-hand artist, he is a credited performer at Hollywood's Magic Castle, the world's most exclusive stage for magical entertainment.
Over the course of this three-hour class, Ferdinando will orchestrate the group's collective creativity to help participants conceive, plan, and put into action their very own "magical experiences." Want to show your appreciation for a friend or loved one with a truly unforgettable gesture? Maybe an "unexpected" event is what's needed to make your work stand out from the crowd? Perhaps you simply want to brighten up a busy street-corner with a little "improvised" wonder?
If you are a designer, entertainer, teacher, artist, poet, maker, a curious and fun-loving person, a believer in science and mystery or someone seeking to introduce magic into their everyday life - well, my friend, this workshop is for you!
