Join Leyla I. Royle as she hosts the behind the scenes tour of the Peggy Notebaert offsite collections! The museum, originally founded in 1857 as the Chicago Academy of Sciences, is one of Chicago’s oldest institutions and is dedicated to the study and preservation of Illinois natural history. This tour will highlight rarely seen specimens from the museum’s offsite storage facility and give a glimpse into the history and lengthy collections process of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Space is limited; purchase in advance to secure a spot!

Where do we meet? Please note this event DOES NOT MEET at the Peggy Notebaert Museum, but instead meets at an offsite facility at 4001 N. Ravenswood!
