Bring an open mind (and your family pet!) to a unique educational soiree celebrating the bond between animal and human.
Join the Obscura Society LA and field agent Rebecca Leib for drinks, live music and a curated peek into The National Museum of Animals & Society's fascinating archives. For years, The National Museum of Animals & Society has dedicated countless hours to the historical preservation and exploration of the animal/human experience. As the last hurrah before the museum moves to a bigger facility, Atlas Obscura and NMAS have partnered to bring you an exclusive peek at the museum's collection.
The event will begin with an introduction to the museum and archival talk by curator Carolyn Merino Mullin. Afterwards, guests will be sworn into the Band of Mercy, an anti-animal cruelty alliance. The evening will conclude with live music and time to peruse the museum, while attendees sip themed craft cocktails by resident NMAS mixologist Tanya, of Brit-Tanya Bartending!
