Even if you've never made a sock talk, or never chatted with a dummy on your lap, all you need is a taste for the wacky and wondrous – and maybe a pair of googly eyes – to build your own buddy.
Join Field Agent Sandi Hemmerlein at a dream-come-true workshop at Puppet School to learn the art of puppetry from the best in the biz. After all, Puppet School co-founder Michael Earl is an award-winning Muppeteer who performed as Mr. Snuffleupagus on Sesame Street and puppeteered lead characters in the film Team America.
After five years, Puppet School will end all sales of future public classes as of July 31. Enroll now for our special private workshop on August 22 – it may be your last chance for fleece, feathers, and some new furry friends!
Whether you're an aspiring Jim Henson, Bob Baker, or Shari Lewis, or you've just always wanted your very own Gonzo or Grover, you'll learn what it takes to bring the illusion of life to a character you create in this two-hour workshop. Puppet School will provide all necessary materials and instructions for step-by-step tracing, cutting, hot gluing, and decorating of your own puppet creation that you'll take home with you!
