Obscura Society SF: Art + Wine + Brains

An evening of wine, painting, and neuroscience.

ArtSocial let's you spend an evening enjoying a glass of wine or a cocktail while learning to paint under a professional artist. But for this special event, we've partnered with UCSF to add a twist: Instead of painting your own Van Gogh, we'll be illustrating brains! There will be real brains for you to examine, a professional science illustrator and artist to instruct you in the process of creating your own painting of a brain, and neuroscientists on-hand with fascinating explanations of neuroanatomy.

All your supplies (canvas, paints, brushes and apron) are provided for you. No experience is necessary. At the end of the evening, you can take your creation home and hang it from your wall.
