Human Organ Painting Night

An evening of wine, painting, science, hearts, and brains.

Would you like to handle a genuine human brain? A heart? And paint a portrait of them? You're in luck - you'll soon be able to hang your very own "Still Life with Organs" over your mantle!

ArtSocial let's you spend an evening enjoying a glass of wine or a cocktail while learning to paint under a professional artist. But for this special event, we've also partnered with the Bay Area Science Festival to add a twist: Instead of painting your own Van Gogh, we'll be illustrating hearts and brains! There will be real human organs from UCSF for you to examine, a professional artist to instruct you in the process of creating your own painting, and scientists on hand to answer all your neuroanatomy and heart-related questions.

All your supplies (canvas, paints, brushes and apron) are provided for you. No experience is necessary. At the end of the evening, you can take your creation home.
