Come out to Playland-Not-at-the-Beach for a morning tour focusing on the history of Playland, Sutro’s Baths and the Cliff House. After the tour we can stay and explore and check out enjoying the displays and play all the games until closing at 5pm.
Playland-Not-at-the-Beach is housed in a 9000 square foot building chock-full of wonderful things to see and do, including 30+ Pinball Machines set on free play, classic carnival games, live magic shows, historic movies of America’s bygone amusements, miniature circuses, side show attractions, penny arcades, antique amusement devices, and classic video games.
We are looking forward to getting up close to antiques and artifacts from the Sutro Baths and Whitney's Playland, attractions celebrating America's Bygone Amusements and display cases full of artifacts and memorabilia from amusement parks of the past - from Laughing Sal and her strange sister Sinister Sal to their 300-year old mummy.
