Obscure Sojourns: Scotch

Join Atlas Obscura Society Denver to discuss the history and science of Scotch.

Join us for a tour of the delicious world of Scotch. We’ll explore its history, how it’s made, the differences between the five regions of scotch-making, and how to cocktail with scotch. A free tasting of a scotch from each region will be provided. Cheers!

Jordan Leggett has worked in the craft bartending industry in both Denver and Seattle. She has worked in upscale hotel bars and farm-to-table restaurants, perfecting the art of crafting delicious cocktails. She has taught or participated in teaching a variety of spirit-related classes including scotch, agave, bourbon and rye, gin, amari, and bartending. She is currently the lead bartender at 24 Carrot Bistro, a farm-to-table restaurant in Erie, CO.
