Rosehill Cemetery Walk

Take a stroll through history in Chicago's largest cemetery.

**Due to popular demand an afternoon tour has been added. Tickets for the Afternoon Tour at 1:30 PM can be found below.**

One of the oldest "garden cemeteries" in town, Rosehill is full of heroes, villains, and some lesser-known eccentrics, with some of the city's most captivating artwork. Author and historian Adam Selzer leads a fascinating and often hilarious stroll through history. Sneer at the grave of a notable racist, tip your hat to the man who thwarted a Civil War insurrection, admire a statue that was once in Lincoln Park, puzzle over the mystery of a supposed Revolutionary War soldier, and allow yourself a chuckle at the guy whose name is "Bangs" and whose gravestone features a train going into a tunnel. Every tour is a bit different—there's always more to discover, and Adam just can't leave those curiosity doors locked!
