Sipping Extinct Ales With Lost Lagers

Taste beers once lost to history at Gordon Biersch Rockville.

D.C. was once a beer town, full of brilliant ales and hoppy brews. However, Prohibition curtailed much of the production leading to the closing of many of the most prominent brewers in the city. Beloved beers and unique recipes were lost to history. Or so was thought.

Lost Lagers has made it their mission to bring back these long-forgotten beers to the palettes of D.C. Using primary sources and modern techniques, they've been recreating ales that once dominated the landscape of the nation's capital.

Join Peter Jones and Mike Stein of Lost Lagers for an exclusive exploration and tasting of a historic D.C. beer based on a style called Brillant Ale which is now brewed at Gordon Biersch Rockville.
