Sunset Strip Misinformation Tour

When the legend becomes fact, tour the legend!

According to a recent investigation by KNBC, many traditional Hollywood tour companies knowingly peddle exaggerations, falsehoods, and out right lies. While this sort of misrepresentation could be viewed as deceitful, it can potentially be a lot more fun.

Join comedian Adam Papagan for The Sunset Strip Misinformation Tour, a playful homage to the fabricated stories people travel the world over to experience. You’ll see the hotel balcony from which Michael Jackson dangled his young son, a newsstand originally owned by William Randolph Hearst, and the filming locations for Disney’s The Little Mermaid—plus many more plausible but unlikely anecdotes about the famous corridor. When the legend becomes fact, tour the legend!

Adam Papagan is an artist, comedian, and talk show host from Los Angeles, California. His past projects include immersive video installations, collaborations with outsider musician David Liebe Hart, and a tour of the sites made famous by the 1995 O.J. Simpson murder trial. He also hosts There's a Place on Dromebox.comand Inside Outside on KCHUNG Radio. A native of Los Angeles, Adam enjoys sharing his unique take on the city with others.
