Atlas Obscura & Morbid Anatomy Museum Present: Taxidermy Gone Rogue

Join us as we celebrate the book release of Robert Marbury's Taxidermy Art with a Rogue Taxidermy Fair!

Bionic fawns. Jewel-encrusted piglets. Martini-sipping winged monkeys. Let artist Robert Marbury be your guide to the denizens of the delightfully macabre world of Rogue Taxidermy.

In his new book Taxidermy Art Marbury offers the first survey of the provocative Rogue Taxidermy art movement, sharing over 100 pieces by today’s leading artists and illustrated workshops to inspire the budding taxidermist. Join us at the Bell House Sunday, October 5th as we celebrate the release of Taxidermy Art with an exposition of fur, feathers, art, and music. Featuring a live taxidermy demo by Katie Innamorato; a panel discussion between Marbury and artists Innamorato and Nate Hill, oddity booths and artwork including the Minnesota Association of Rogue Taxidermists, the Morbid Anatomy Museum, Atlas Obscura, James Taylor's Shocked & Amazed, Bazaar Baltimore, Divya Does Taxidermy, Richard Santomauro Taxidermy, Robert Kennedy Taxidermy, Tohickon Glass Eye, Caitlin McCormack and more to be announced.
