Hoppy Holidays at The Bunny Museum

Hop into the holidays with an after-hours visit to the world's largest bunny collection.

Join Atlas Obscura Society Los Angeles on a family-friendly, festive foray into a world of bunny snowmen, bunny angels, bunny Santas, bunny ornaments, and—just for the holidays—a bunny-themed Christmas tree!

In 1999, the Guinness Book of World Records certified The Bunny Museum as having "the world's largest collection of bunnies," boasting approximately 8,500 items. But as bunnies tend to do, they've multiplied… to the tune of over 35,000!

For Candace Frazee and Steve Lubanski, their shared love for bunnies is a constant reminder of their love for one another. What innocently began as a daily bunny-related gift exchange between two partners eventually led to this enormous private collection. And with each day that passes, the museum gets closer and closer to its goal of one million bunny items.

The Bunny Museum doesn't discern between plush bunnies, carved bunnies, cookie jar bunnies, or even dust bunnies—but probably the most important part of the collection are the actual, living, breathing bunnies!

You'll see them all when The Bunny Museum stays open late for our private tour of its new and improved, expanded location—guided by museum founder Candace Frazee herself.
