What We’ll Do

Attention Atlas Obscura members: it’s show and tell time! Grab your most fascinating family heirloom, your oddest travel souvenir, your oldest artifact, and any other objects of intrigue you might have laying around, because it’s time for some Everyday Archaeology with Atlas Obscura! During this monthly digital showcase, we’re going to be joined by a selection of our Atlas Obscura members, who will present their most incredible objects and artifacts to a guest expert, and unearth the wonders sitting right under our noses. A little bit Antiques Road Show, a pinch of Indiana Jones, and a hint of Marie Kondo, Atlas Obscura’s Everyday Archaeology is an exciting appreciation of the curiosities hiding right on your own shelf. If you aren't an Atlas Obscura member yet, learn more here.

During this month's pilot edition of Everyday Archaeology, we're going to be joined by toy historian and co-founder of the Toy Tales blog, Todd Coopee, who will be taking a look at some of the most fascinating and wondrous toys and games from our community. Join us for Everyday Archaeology and explore some of our users' most fascinating artifacts. They'll leave you saying, "that belongs in a museum!"
