What We’ll Do

Join Chef Preeti Mistry and learn how to make some Indian-inspired snacks and a cocktail to pair with them. You will learn to make the Desi Drop, a refreshing combo of Nimbu Pani (toasted cumin lemonade) and your favorite spirit, followed by Desi Jacks, Preeti's famous Indian inflected Cracker Jacks, and a spicy snack of peanuts and cheese that they grew up eating.

Chef Preeti Mistry is honored to have been nominated two times by the James Beard Foundation as "Best Chef of the West." They are the Co-Founder & Executive Chef of Navi Kitchen and Juhu Beach Club (both now closed) as well as the co-author (with Sarah Henry) of The Juhu Beach Club Cookbook. Born in London and raised in the US, Preeti has held Executive Chef roles at the deYoung Museum, the Legion of Honor in San Francisco and Google HQ in Mountain View, CA. They were a contestant on Top Chef Season Six and studied at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy in London. Preeti and their restaurants have been featured in numerous publications including Anthony Bourdain’s PARTS UNKNOWN on CNN.
