Hunting Chicago's Historic Calamities
Tales of fires, floods, and secret tunnels under Chicago await you in this historical scavenger hunt through Chicago's Loop! You'll receive a set of clues, each one of which will take you to the site of a historical disaster in downtown Chicago. As you travel through the city, you'll learn how early disasters in Chicago's history helped shape the city into the modern metropolis it is today.
Each group will receive a set of 10 clues that will take you to 10 different locations, and the first group to find all the answers and reach the host will win a fabulous prize! The answer to the final clue will reveal a hidden location. There, you'll meet your host for a complimentary drink of your choice and a chance to learn more about the history behind these strange but true tales.
Every location you visit will relate to a specific event in Chicago's history that changed its path forever. You'll end at a hidden location (revealed by answering the final clue on the scavenger hunt) where you'll have a chance to chat with your host and hear more stories.

Wear shoes fit for an adventure and a cold weather outfit to match.

Guests ages 21 and up can attend.
Guests should be comfortable using their phones and the internet to help them solve the clues. You should also be able to follow a map/be able to figure out directions with a map application.
