Atlas Obscura is seeking a part-time contributing producer to work on its new daily podcast. The successful candidate will be curious, quick,highly creative and comfortable multitasking. The stories we make on this show are short bursts of wonder -- each sound-rich episode is less than 15 minutes and is designed to take the listener on an audio journey around the globe. As a contributing producer, you’ll help shape these stories and have a regular role on the show.
Note, Atlas Obscura is a remote-first company, so you can work from anywhere within the continental United States.
The show is a co-production with Witness Docs from Stitcher, and the candidate will work closely with members of both organizations.
