Help improve Atlas Obscura by expanding Artpark Tegel with additional information or photos.
These bleak monotone tower blocks in northern Berlin were turned into canvases for international artists in 2001. A housing company teamed up with URBAN NATION, an institution for urban contemporary art, to enliven the area. There are seven murals in total, each contains an information plate telling the story of the artwork.
