Believe It or Not Curiosity Cabinet

This ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not!’ knock off is the perfect departure for those looking to explore the stranger side of Tamsui. Tucked between the normal tourist shops and buzz lies the strange and unique wonder known as ‘Believe It or Not Curiosity Cabinet’. The attractions begin before you even enter the building (a rooster with 4 legs sits outside the front door), but inside is where the delights truly begin. There are certainly no lack of curiosities, including but not limited to: multi-headed animals, male chastity belts, pork colored jade, a multitude of photo opportunities, and a surprising number of poop jokes. Everything is in Chinese, but even if you can’t read the descriptions, the displays can really speak for themselves. Though the curiosities can be explored alone, bringing a friend along makes the photos ops easier and that much more fun!
