About

Birmingham's answer to the Hollywood Walk of Fame wears its stars with pride. The street celebrates 31 local heroes, making for an interesting insight into the surprising number of famous folk born and bred in the area.

From comedy veteran Lenny Henry to Ozzy Osbourne to bonafide national treasure Julie Walters, the pavement proudly bears the concrete stars of the people of Birmingham and the Black Country who have helped put Birmingham on the entertainment map.

Created in 2007, the installation, as with the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is adorned by those who have made a significant contribution to music, television, radio, theatre, sport, business, and literacy.

Know Before You Go

The tram line that runs between Birmingham and Wolverhampton has meant that some of the stars have been temporarily removed and various barriers have obscured the view, but there are still plenty of stars available to see.
