At a height of 500 meters is the Mazaroni plateau, where Stinasu lets out guest houses. The possibilities vary from a simple hammock (take your own hammock!) To a complete bungalow. You must book in advance. This is possible at the office of Stinasu in the center of Paramaribo. Here you can also order meals (although the camping pitches are equipped with kitchen utensils that you can pick up at the park manager).

Please note that at the Mazaroni plateau, due to the altitude, it can be quite cold at night. The Dutch are somewhat used to, but a thick sleeping bag is not superfluous if you sleep in a hammock. Additional blankets can be rented from the manager if necessary. However, the relative cold also has a big advantage: mosquitoes usually find the Mazaroni plateau much too cold, so you will have less trouble at night.
