Buchstabenmuseum (Museum of Letters, Characters and Typefaces)

A collection of typographic objects from Berlin and beyond.

The Museum of Rescued Letters was established in 2005 by Barbara Dechant and Anja Schulze. Not letters as in notes sent through the post, but 3-Dimensional pieces of lost, forgotten or abandoned signs. The museum works both as a recycling company as well as an archiver of letters, across language and font.
