In 1946, Truett and Ben Cathy opened their original diner, called the Dwarf Grill, in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville, GA near what is now the Atlanta International Airport.  It was later renamed the Dwarf House. Even though this location has gone through many renovations, it still offers diner, counter, and drive-through options as well as original menu items like Dwarf Burgers, Fried Okra, and homemade Lemon Pie.

Founded by Truett and Ben Cathy in 1946, Chik-fil-A has become a global fast-food powerhouse operating in more than 2,600 restaurants across 47 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico as well as the U.K. and Canada. People really are learning to “Eat Mor Chikin!”  Just don’t go on Sundays because all restaurants are closed.
