You might be driving at full speed on your way from Gettysburg when you glimpse something out of the ordinary in the side of the road. You might manage to lower the speed of the car enough to turn off the road on the neighbouring property and find a parking opportunity that later turns out to be a swamp and require a friendly neighbour and his Jeep to pull you free. But before that happens you should remain oblivious to mud in the future and get lost among the huge display of full size garden figures in the yard. Frogs, brown bears, tigers, Virgin Marys, Buddhas, gargoyles, (very) slow turtles, rearing horses, even an elephant stand among hastily painted figures of civil war confederates and slightly better camouflaged Gulf war soldiers. One of the employees might invite you in for a tour even though your arrived just before closing hours. And if you are really lucky, you get to meet owner and president of Desert Flower Wholesale, Inc. Guy C. Seiferd, who surely insists on showing you one of his recent pencil drawings.
