The Flea Market U Elektry is the largest flea market in the Czech Republic. Here you will find old paintings, cuckoo clocks, Merkur kits, collectibles, gramophone records, pocket watches, unidentifiable items, antiques, spare parts for things that are no longer produced, old postage stamps, polished garbage, erotic collages and other things you will not find in any supermarket.

Things you no longer use occupy a place, but you’re sorry to throw them away, you can sell yourself on the flea market.

You meet people in cars and clothes from the period after the Velvet Revolution (1989), interesting enthusiasts, grunge strangers as well as thieves and crooks.

The term flea market dates back to the Middle Ages, when the monarch or the nobleman give his clothes to his serfs. They could continue to trade with him and carry fleas and parasites along with him.
