The Colonial Forum was built around 30 BCE and it’s remains include some columns and archs from the original Roman Basilica. The street level basement and the ruins from some buildings. The excavated area comprises two blocks connected by a metal bridge.
This area together with the remains of the Amphitheater and the Roman Circus gives the visitor an idea of life and style of the Roman ‘Tarraco’, which was famous throughout the Roman World.
