The chateau has a fascinating history. I can’t do it justice here. The best room is the library - great antique globes and it’s gorgeous. The hunter’s hall is also interesting and the assembly hall is gorgeous.
The gardens are also gorgeous…great hedge labrynths.
Know Before You Go
From their website:
The Chateau with the Chateau Garden are in the historic centre of the town. If you arrive by bus or train, just take the main bridge over Morava River and enter the Chateau Garden through the gate on your right. The garden is connected with the Chateau.
You can also walk through the town centre (after crossing the bridge walk straight on Vejvanovskeho street and Vodní street following the UNESCO path signposts towards the Chateau´s main entrance. The Chateau Tower is easily visible even from the bridge and can help your orientation)
The Flower Garden is 10 mins walk from the Chateau - the path is marked by UNESCO signposts.
