One of Victoria’s oldest English pubs (est 1867) Garrick’s Head Saloon was where Judge Matthew Bigbie would offer a final meal to those awaiting to be hanged. Those waiting to watch the public hanging would down a pint or two, before heading across the street to the gallows.
